Summer Competitions

Please find below details about upcoming Summer Competitions for members with a Handicap Index:

Guys & Dolls:

• Format 4BBB mixed league (all pairs to play everyone)
• Drawn event
• £5 entry fee
• Yellow tees for men, red tees for ladies
• 9-hole match play 
• 90% handicap allowance on the day
• All 9 holes to be played and scored
• 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw
• In event of a tie on points, position in league will be decided on holes won/lost by
• eg. A beats B by 3 holes A +3 and B -3 and so on through all matches
• Sign up on noticeboard from Sunday 21st April, entries close Tuesday 30th April
• Matches to start from Tuesday 7th May

Summer Singles:

• 18 holes, match play
• Individual knockout
• £5 entry fee
• White tees for men, red tees for ladies
• Members are required to have submitted 6 qualifying cards in the last 12 months to enter
• Any Silver members playing in weekend matches must pay a discounted £10.00 green fee/player per match
• 100% handicap allowance on the day
• Sign up on noticeboard from Sunday 21st April, entries close Tuesday 30th April
• Matches to start from Tuesday 7th May

Summer Pairs:

• 18 holes, match play
• Members must have submitted 6 qualifying cards in the last 12 months to enter
• Play from Handicap Index on the day of match
• Sign up on noticeboard from Sunday 21st April, entries close Tuesday 30th April
• Matches to start from Tuesday 7th May
• Entry Fee = £5.00/head
• No plate competition this year, knockout only
• White tees men, red tees for ladies
• 90% handicap allowance on the day
• Pairs can be mixed but this is not a requirement for entry 
• Any Silver members playing in weekend matches must pay a discounted £10.00 green fee/player per match
• We are aiming for 16 pairs to enter this year
