Awards Ceremony & WHS Rules Night

Following our Member Newsletter earlier this month, we're pleased to confirm we're hosting a combined Awards Ceremony & WHS Rules Night on Wednesday 8th May.

Speakers on the night will include Rules Officials Paul Berry, Nigel Duda and County Secretary Scott Talbert. If you have any particular questions about the Rules of Golf, Handicaps, local rules or World Handicapping System which you would like addressed on the night, please email them to manager@basset-down.com in advance or speak to one of our committee members so we can submit these to our speakers ahead of the evening. These can also include examples of scenarios you've experienced out on the golf course before, which you would like clarification on for future reference. We will also be celebrating our competition winners from last season on the night, with a trophy presentation for Cup Competitions, the Order of Merit and other leagues. 

If you would like to join us on the night, please sign up directly at reception by Friday 3rd May. Timings for the evening will be: 18:15 arrival, 18:30 start, approx 20:30 finish.
