Reviewing your Golf equipment for Winter - 27/02/2016

Winter is the perfect time to review your Golf equipment with Ian Bolt

It's a good time of year to look at your equipment, from that well warn glove, to the shoes that need new cleats, or should you invest in a new driver or putter? With most leading manufacturers just about to launch their 2016 ranges, ask your PGA professional to help you navigate this minefield. They will know your swing and your game. With this knowledge they can offer you the best advice and price. Changing any equipment now will give you a few weeks to get used to them before the return of "proper golf".

What can be done with older golfing equipment

Renewing your grips, which have deteriorated over the winter can liven up a tired set of clubs - again ask your PGA professional. They will check your hand size and advise accordingly, there are far too many golfers using the wrong size grips! For less expenditure a new set of cleats for your shoes can help with that all important grip and balance. So use the next couple of months wisely! We wish you a happy, healthy 2016 and great golf! Roll on Augusta and the U.S Masters in April that usually is the green light for golf in the UK.
