Lessons- The Great Misunderstanding - 21/09/2014

Lessons- The Great Misunderstanding. By Mike Walters.

Many golfers both experienced and new to the game worry about taking golf lessons. They believe that in order to help them improve, the professional teaching them will either completely restructure their golf swing, or change the feeling so much that it will take months before they can hit a golf ball properly again.

Golf Tuition In Swindon
Let me assure you, this does not happen in the VAST majority of cases. In almost every instance, a professional will only do that sort of work if they are specifically asked to by the pupil or after lengthy consultations discussing exactly what would be required.

Now, I'm not saying that with a little tweak here and there, a professional can turn you into Rory Mcilroy or Michelle Wie. However, they can definitely improve your swing and more importantly, it's potential to be consistent.

Over the course of 2014, we have had 22 strokeplay competitions here at Basset Down. These have given us 22 overall winners and 44 divisional winners. Of these 66 winners, 58 of them have taken lessons with either myself or Ian in the past year alone! Of the 22 overall winners, 20 of them have taken lessons with us in the last year. Furthermore, of the seven trophy competition winners, ALL of them are taking lessons with us.

So, why not give myself or Ian a try? We are currently offering introductory lessons at Basset Down for just £20! You could be very pleasantly surprised by what we could help you achieve, with less upheaval than you may have thought initially necessary. To book a lesson, either call us on 01793 812336 or ask one of our members of staff at reception.
