Member Booking Procedures - 24/11/2020

BDGC will move into Tier 3 restrictions from 31st December 2020.

Please remember that if you live in a Tier 4 area, the government advice is ‘’you must not leave or be outside of your home or garden except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’ (for example, for work, medical or education purposes). Please read the below carefully before your visit. These procedures are non-negotiable and have been put in place to ensure both our players and staff’s safety.
  • 9 holes only currently to maximise availability for all
  • Tee times are at 8-minute intervals
  • Members can book up to 14 days in advance
  • Max 4 balls permitted from any household
  • 1 balls are now permitted on weekdays only, however we are still asking players to buddy up with others as much as possible. We would appreciate your cooperation with this to maximise the utilisation of the tee sheet for all
  • Gold, Colt, Bronze Members to play a maximum of 5 rounds per week
  • Silver & Junior members to play a maximum of 4 rounds a week
  • We will continue to monitor how many times members are playing per week, and will remove any additional slots booked if required
  • Should there be an available tee time which when you finish a round of 9 holes, we are permitting members to play a second 9 holes that day. These slots cannot be booked in advance and can only be booked directly at reception after your first round, if there is a time slot within 1 hour. These rounds will not count towards your max rounds/week as listed above.

BEFORE YOUR ROUND

  • Check-in is still required at reception at least 10 minutes before your tee time
  • Face coverings by law must be worn by staff, golfers and visitors in all public indoor areas of the clubhouse. Exceptions include children under the age of 11 and those who are exempt.
  • We also have a legal obligation to collect details of all clients entering the clubhouse for Track and Trace purposes. These will be stored securely and deleted after 21 days. We will also be displaying an official NHS QR Code poster so that you can check in this way too as an alternative.
  • Please use the hand sanitiser by the front door before you enter. Social distancing markers have been positioned for everyone’s safety
  • All players must have their own equipment, strictly no sharing of bag/clubs is permitted
  • No bag/club/trolley/buggy hire will be available for hire
  • We recommend you download scorecards before your round via our website

ON THE COURSE

  • Players must keep 2 metres apart at all times, including the teeing areas
  • Stray balls must not be touched
  • Flagsticks must not be touched or removed. We have modified the flagsticks so that the ball can be easily retrieved from the hole without having to touch the cup
  • Please use your feet or club to best smooth any bunkers

AFTER THE ROUND

  • Players must not shake hands at the end of the round or swap scorecards for marking purposes
  • The Parkland Café will be offering a takeaway only service
