Driving Range Procedures - Call 07393 855670 to pre-book - 02/06/2020

Bays MUST be booked in advance.  

We will NOT be accepting walk-ins at this time.

The below procedures were updated on 24.09.20, are non-negotiable and have been put in place to protect our staff and customers. We will constantly review this in line with government guidelines.  You must not come to the club if you have or are showing symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have come into contact with someone who has the virus.

To book a bay, please call reception on 07393 855670. Prices include unlimited balls & use of Toptracer:

  • 30-minute slot = £6.60

  • 1-hour slot = £10.00

NEW: Hire a private bay for max. 3 people from different households or max. 4 people from the same household. Prices include unlimited balls & use of Toptracer (pre-book only):

  • 1-hour slot = £20.00 (3 ppl) £25.00 (4 ppl)

  • 2- hour slot = £35.00 (3 ppl) £40.00 (4 ppl)

If from different households, players must use a gloved hand or choose a designated player to use the interactive Toptracer screens. Players must wait in designated boxes when it’s not their turn on the matt. Disposable gloves available on request, hand sanitiser available in the bay at all times.

Range opening times: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 21:00. Last baskets for 30 min slot = 20:30, 20:00 for 1 hour slot. Friday – Sunday 08:00 – 19:00. Last baskets for 30 min slot = 18:30, 18:00 for 1 hour slot.

  • Bays can be reserved up to 7 days in advance (max 2 concurrent slots)

  • Only 1 person is permitted per bay and no spectators will be allowed. However, children can have 1 person from their household accompany them (excludes private bay hire)

  • Please note: all players must have their own clubs – no hire available at present

  • Non-loyalty card holders: slots can be paid for on arrival. Loyalty card holders: prices will be deducted from your account on arrival. If you would like to top up your card, this can be done on arrival

  • Please be aware that as of 24th September, face coverings by law must be worn by staff, golfers and visitors in all public indoor areas of the clubhouse. Face coverings can be removed when sitting at a table and will not be required when using the driving range. Exceptions include children under the age of 11 and those with certain disabilities.

  • We also have a legal obligation to collect details of all clients entering the clubhouse for Track and Trace purposes. These will be stored securely and deleted after 21 days. We will also be displaying an official NHS QR Code poster so that you can check in this way too as an alternative.

  • Our Parkland Cafe will remain open, and we will be providing an indoor table service. Takeaways may also be served for consumption outside, on the range or to take home.

  • Please use the hand sanitiser by the front door before you enter. Social distancing markers have been positioned for everyone’s safety

  • Report to reception on arrival to collect your sanitised bucket of balls, and you will then be directed to your bay number – you must stay in the bay and the green walkway must be kept clear at all times

  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times

  • If using an automated mat, please use your club to adjust tee heights

  • Please observe your allocated slot time. On leaving, inform a staff member of your bay number so the bay and Toptracer screens can be sanitised for the next client

    From Monday 14th September, our clubhouse and outdoor seating area can continue to accommodate multiple social groups, provided each individual group is no larger than six people (a new legal requirement). Individual groups must not join up with others to form gatherings of more than six people before, during or after a round. Travel to and from Basset Down Golf Complex should continue to be in accordance with government regulations. Guidance on social distancing and sanitisation must also be followed at all times.
